Cliff is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Tiempo Development, where he is responsible for the strategic vision of the company. For over 25 years, Mr. Schertz has been leading and growing successful technology service companies, enabling his customers to achieve superior performance, high customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Prior to Tiempo Development, Cliff was the CEO of Camisa Technologies, where he and his team implemented and integrated customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions for hundreds of mid-sized companies such as United Concordia, Motorola, Weitz Construction, Harlan Bakeries, and Best Western International. Earlier, when Cliff was the Vice President of the CRM National Practice for ePartners, he grew ePartners from zero CRM sales to become the national sales leader for SalesLogix, Onyx, Pivotal, and Siebel mid-market software companies.

Cliff has a degree in Electronic Technology from Texas State Technical College and an MBA from Arizona State University’s WP Carey School of Business. When he is not meeting with Tiempo’s clients and prospects or speaking at an industry event, he enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs, serving on nonprofit boards, reading business books, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.



As CSO, Bruce provides strategy and leadership for Tiempo Development’s service portfolio and drives the company’s software engineering, professional services, consulting, and customer support initiatives forward. Mr. Steele is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of management experience in the areas of operations, corporate development, sales, and strategic planning with leading technology firms.

Before joining Tiempo, Bruce held a number of leadership positions at ePartners, a highly regarded business solutions consultancy recognized repeatedly by Microsoft’s with its prestigious Global Partner of the Year award. Under Bruce’s leadership as ePartners’ Executive Vice President of Operations, Sales, and Solution Strategy, the company grew from a $5 million start-up to a $90 million leader in its industry. Bruce’s career also includes senior-level positions with a number of other high-growth technology integrators, consultancies, and engineering firms.

Bruce has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside of his involvement at Tiempo, Bruce and his wife enjoy travel, golf, and exciting mobile technologies.



James has significant experience in corporate finance with a focus on growth technology companies. He spent more than 15 years in venture capital finance, corporate development, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Tiempo Development, James was the Managing Director of Commercialization at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). In that role, he was responsible for all commercialization and licensing activities, and used his expertise to counsel company executives in the areas of venture finance and corporate development. He oversaw all business operations, contracts, and intellectual property agreements for a $45 million strategic initiative in personalized medicine with several international partners.

James also was the CFO at Desert Document Services, Inc., a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider serving the mortgage-lending industry. In addition to being responsible for all financial operations, he successfully led the company’s efforts to be acquired by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services in January 2007.

James received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. Outside of Tiempo, James is an active board member of the Venture Fellows program at the University of Texas in Austin. He is a member of the Arizona Technology Council’s capital formation and cloud technology committees, and also participates in the local chapter of Financial Executives International. James also serves as the President of Financial Executives International's Arizona Chapter, which was honored as the Most Outstanding Chapter for 2016-2017.



As COO, Mike provides leadership to the engineering and delivery teams across our Mexico locations. Mr. Hahn has more than 20 years leading technology and consulting businesses in areas of product management, strategic initiatives and solving complex problems through technology implementation.

Before joining Tiempo, Mike was a founding member of a litigation software company, Verdict Systems. He led customer engagements and product development to support complex commercial litigation and criminal prosecutions. While at Verdict Systems, Mike met Cliff Schertz, President and CEO of Tiempo Development, and the team - becoming one of the earliest Tiempo clients. Mike led Verdict Systems through a series of acquisitions that ultimately landed him and his product at LexisNexis. Mike’s career includes other product leadership roles as well as corporate governance roles.

Mike has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Baylor University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University. Outside of work, Mike can usually be found running to youth soccer games or traveling with the family to cooler areas during the summer.
